About Doctor Carole C Lane
In addition to serving numerous patients in the Monroeville, Alabama community, Dr. Carole Lane takes the time to give back to the community in a different way. Dr. Carole Lane, who is both a Dermatologist and a Director of Cardiopulmonary Services, donates her time and money, as well as lends a hand whenever she can. In her dermatology practice at Lane Medical Group, Carole Lane diagnoses and treats patients suffering from common ailments of the skin, as well as those suffering from skin cancer. Carole Lane’s dedication to her patients and to the medical field led her to donate to the Skin Cancer Foundation, American Cancer Society, Skin Disease Foundation, Alzheimer's Research Fund, Doctors without Borders, and St. Jude's Children’s Hospital. Carole Lane, who also practices echocardiography (ultrasound study of the heart), is the director of cardiopulmonary services at Monroe County Hospital, located in the state of Alabama. However, Dr. Carole Lane’s abilities and talents extend beyond the realm of medicine. Dr. Lane found a way to utilize one of her hobbies in her charitable efforts. Lane, who has a private pilot license, works with the organization Pilots for Christ, volunteering her time to fly ill patients and their family members to medical treatment facilities. Carole Lane also takes part in community activities by singing in the Sanctuary Choir at her church. Carole Lane has been helping other people since she was a student at the University of Alabama. Dr. Lane taught physics lab classes to other students and later tutored students in the same subject while she was working her way through medical school. In 1990, Dr. Carole C. Lane completed her postgraduate studies in Dermatology and Internal Medicine, already well on her way to helping people on a professional level.
